Sold Out

The famous bronze ducks created by Nancy Schön located in the Public Garden near the corner of Beacon Street and Charles Street.

Installed in 1987, Nancy Schön's magical sculpture of Mrs. Mallard and Jack, Kack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Ouack, Pack, and Quack has since been one of the most popular Boston attractions for kids.

The inspiration for the statues,is the well-known children's picture book called Make Way for Ducklings; written and illustrated by Robert McCloskey.

This pair painted in a bronze patina representitive of the statues themselves. Lighter and darker shades of wear from children climbing on Mallard and her ducklings over the years. Small hints of blue oxidation sprinkled arounf the shoe showing the 30+ years of age. The authors signature on the inner heel and a silhouette of Mallard and her ducklings on the outer. Classic illustrations from the book wrap the insoles solidifying this original take on a Boston staple.
